The EXAMO 100 from Leister is a small, compact and lightweight testing device in civil engineering and complements the Leister GEO automatic welding machines COMET, COMET 500, COMET 700, GEOSTAR G5, GEOSTAR G5 LQS, GEOSTAR G7, GEOSTAR G7 LQS, TWINNY T, TWINNY S, TWINNY T5, TWINNY T7 as well as the Leister extrusion welding machines WELDPLAST S4, WELDPLAST 605, FUSION 3. The EXAMO 100 was designed for civil engineers and is ideally suited for fast and energy-saving testing of the quality of weld seams in plastic geomembranes.

With the EXAMO 100, the specimens can be clamped without tools. During the peel test, the handy and lightweight Leister test instrument achieves a constant tensile speed, resulting in reproducible test results. The EXAMO 100 is operated via a battery screw. This leaves one hand free for the testing device when testing the weld seam. In addition, users are more flexible when working on the construction site because the cordless drill is not connected to a power cable. A suitable bit adapter is included in the scope of delivery for connecting the cordless screwdriver to the EXAMO 100. Peel testing of weld seams in geomembranes cannot be simpler. The EXAMO 100 tensile tester is robust and helpful when used on civil engineering construction sites. Who does not know them, the homemade tensile testers or modified jacks. Fortunately, these times are over and civil engineers can use their precious time productively. The test specimens, for example made of HDPE, are previously punched out with the COUPON CUTTER 500 from Leister. As a result, they are uniform in size and give comparable results when tested. For the peel test, the test specimens (coupons) are clamped in the EXAMO 100 weld seam tester. This can be done quickly and easily thanks to the innovative clamping mechanism. Then a standard cordless drill sets the pulling mechanism of the EXAMO 100 in motion at a constant speed. The weld seam is tested destructively via peel test. The quality of the weld seam is then assessed visually. Quality tests on weld seams in geomembranes can thus be carried out very easily. By using the EXAMO 100 with the cordless screwdriver, civil engineers save long distances, time and energy on construction sites. In addition, the motivation to check the seam quality more frequently increases, which in turn increases the overall quality.
